An Ergonomic Pottery Wheel Attachment

Give your idle foot somewhere to rest.

The Potter's Peg is an adjustable pottery wheel attachment that mounts to the leg of most standard electric pottery wheels. By giving your non operating foot a stable place to rest, it helps steady your hands while you shape clay and eases back strain during long throwing sessions. The peg and support arm adjust to fit potters of different sizes, so you can find the position that works for you.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS POTTERY WHEEL ATTACHMENT

  • Gives your idle foot a stable resting point, steadying your hands while you shape
  • Eases back strain during long sessions of trimming, centering, and throwing
  • Adjusts to fit potters of different sizes
  • Professionally powder coated peg with a secure nut and bolt mounting system
  • Handmade pottery tool, built to last
  • Patent pending design, you won't find this anywhere else

Handmade in the USA

Every Potter's Peg comes out of a small workshop in Council Bluffs, Iowa, where it's shaped, welded, and finished one at a time.

How to Install The Potter's Peg

Step One

Slightly raise the front of your pottery wheel.

Step Two

Remove the plastic end cap from the pottery wheel leg.

Step Three

Install Potter's Peg on the pottery wheel leg so the peg is facing the opposite direction of the control pedal.

Adjust to your desired height, length, and angle, then tighten the set screws and replace the end cap if desired. Potter's Peg is ready for use! This procedure applies to both the right and left sides.
